Our Story
Our work is driven by a shared commitment to empowering individuals and strengthening communities through education, vocational training, and sustainable development. While KALYAN serves as the parent organization with decades of experience in community development, Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS), Purulia delivers skill development programmes under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India. Through initiatives such as the Tribal Skilling Centre (TSC) under the DAJGUA Project, we continue to expand opportunities for tribal youth and women across Purulia.Together, these initiatives reflect our vision of creating self-reliant communities by providing practical skills, promoting entrepreneurship, and improving livelihoods.
