Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS), Purulia is a skill development institution working under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India. Our primary objective is to empower youth, women, tribal communities, and economically disadvantaged groups by providing practical vocational training that leads to sustainable livelihoods and financial independence.We believe that education should create opportunities beyond the classroom. Every training programme at JSS focuses on developing practical skills, building confidence, encouraging entrepreneurship, and preparing individuals for meaningful employment. By combining hands-on learning with local livelihood opportunities, we help our trainees become self-reliant and active contributors to their communities.Our work extends beyond training centres. Through community outreach programmes, awareness campaigns, rural initiatives, and partnerships with local organizations, we strive to make quality skill development accessible to those who need it most. Every individual trained at JSS represents another step toward a stronger, more inclusive, and self-sufficient Purulia.
